Donna Grzegorek - Registered Dental Hygienist
Named one of the top five hygienists in the country, Donna Grzegorek takes pride in treating the periodontal needs of her patients. Practicing dental hygiene for 31 years, Donnas’ passion for dentistry is observed as she enthusiastically shares her knowledge and expertise with patients and colleagues.Donna has received several industry recognitions but is most proud of a national award entitled: “The Dental Hygiene Award of Distinction”. This honor is bestowed upon hygienists who achieve high levels of clinical excellence and assist their patients to lead healthier lives.
Donna is a clinical specialist, IDHA scholar, key opinion leader, published author, national speaker, mentor, educational consultant and practice coach. She has graced the cover of industry journals, sits on the advisory board of a salivary diagnostics company, is an executive board member of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, a member of the International Federations of Dental Hygienists and a 31 year member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
A proactive hygienist who believes that the dental professional is a key component to systemic health, Donna promotes full body wellness through meticulous oral healthcare. When not consumed by professional responsibilities, Donna enjoys the health club, dining at unique restaurants and time spent with family.
Margaret Homer - Dental Assistant / Office Manager
Maggie came to our company in July 2010 after graduating from Marquette University in May with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. She has aspirations to attend graduate school to receive her masters before going on to dental school to become another D.D.S. in our office. She is our office's very own "Martha Stewart," as she comes up with "innovative" and beautiful ways to give our office a little charm and pizzazz. Her organizational skills could win her a gold metal in the olympics, if there ever was such a category.
In her free time, Maggie likes to dance, exercise, and get in touch with her creative side by painting. She is also a self-proclaimed "adrenaline junkie" and enjoys skydiving, scuba diving, and zip-lining across the world.
Michelle Corley - Patient Coordinator
Michelle is our office's very own "Southern Belle" coming from Laurens, South Carolina. Her sweet disposition and personality brings a wonderful energy to our office that will warm your hearts. Michelle dreams of one day going back to school to obtain her Bachelor's Degree and then to proceed onto dental school to become a dentist. Michelle wants to give back to the world someday by sharing her future, impeccable dental talents with those less fortunate. Her hospitality makes her a wonderful patient coordinator.
In Michelle's spare time, she is a Navy wife that is currently traveling with her husband while he goes through training. She enjoys playing with her English springer spaniel, Buddy, in the yard, provided that it's not too chillly for her warm southern blood. Michelle likes to challenge herself by learning new things; her most recent challenge: learning how to drive in the heaping mounds of Chicago-land snow.
